Image left: The Electrochemical Energy Technology Department (DLR Stuttgart)works on development of efficient electrochemical energy converters, mainly batteries, fuel cells and electrolysers. We rendered the animation for a 5 view monitor with barrier system. The idea is to look inside the cell and see how energy is produced, breaking the barrier of having just a black box of aluminum in the exhibition area.
